In the business of exhibitions as well as in the shop fitting business scrupulous keeping of dates and rapid construction at high quality standards are crucial.The trouble-free completion, i.e. perfect co-ordination of everyone involved in the production, plays a role as important as the knowledge of modern materials and solutions for tricky details, and this is exactly what Holtmann’s core competences are about.
The Schuhhaus Barke in Bissendorf was planning the alteration and extension of their shop. It was only obvious to approach Holtmann and a concept was developed in co-operation with the Atelier Raumszenarien.
The result was an extended sales room with a bright, open atmosphere, the clear structure of which leads the customer through the displayed products. The beech furnishing is alternated with cubic presentation towers which permit a calm view upon special models. Product islands of different sizes are distributed in the showroom. The carpet islands and the rear walls in dark violet constitute a contrast in colours. The whole installation is illuminated by built-in lamps in the ceiling what permits easy rearrangements.
Asked what the customer particularly appreciated in the co-operation with Holtmann, the project manager Dieter Schmidt replied: "It was the expertise in planning and implementation and the fact that we speak 'the same language'. In the meantime it could also be confirmed that the new concept of the shop has fulfilled the objectives and expectations of our customer in every respect."
