...the 1960s
In the sixties the construction of exhibition buildings developed into an important foothold of the business. Hereby the company looked over regional borders and produced exhibitions in Frankfurt, Berlin, Milan, Posen, Paris, Moscow, London and Budapest.
For Hall 1 in Hanover, at the time biggest exhibition hall in the world, Holtmann built a ceiling construction of 18.000 m² and floor and ceiling elements of 18.000 m² in just three months. During the economic recovery Holtmann acquired the current premises and in 1968 the construction of the new factory building began.
